The Little Things

“It’s the little things.”

Every day, we typically do the same things: Wake up, go to work or school, come home and have dinner, shower, relax, and go to bed.

However, every day is not the same. Something special happens to each and every one of us every single day. Often times, we don’t even notice.

When you have gone to work or school, or even on your way home, has anyone ever waved to you as they passed you, or maybe someone stopped before you and let you go first?

How about when you got to work or school? Has anyone ever held the door for you, or maybe they complimented your outfit, or your hair? What if you’ve ever dropped something, did someone pick it up for you?

Have you ever come home to a clean house, dishes done, dinner already made, drawings from your children?

The point is, acts of kindness like these happen a lot more than we realize. We’re always talking about fairy tale dreams, and being swept off of our feet and treated like royalty.
We never seem to notice, but we are swept off of our feet every single day.

A simple act of kindness goes a long way.
Sometimes, it’s the little things that can make the biggest impact.
